I've got a 2001 Suzuki DF25 four stroke that has just started missing under a load. It runs fine while idling, you can really feel a hesitation / miss when getting on plane. You can barely feel it once on plane and crusing.

I've tried to check the plugs but it has plastic NGK covers on them and they seem to be on really tight. I'm afraid I'll break something if I pull too hard.

Gas is fresh, I run it a least once every two weeks and have had no trouble till last week.

Anyone have a suggestion on a repair manual for this motor?

Any help is truly appreciated.
Thanks
Casey

Re: Suzuki DF25 Missing under load

Clymer makes a book covering several Suzuki motors. I find it rather vague. Try to get a factory manual. I'll cost ya' about 3x more than Clymer but it'll be specific to your motor. It's money well spent.

Re: Suzuki DF25 Missing under load

I finally got the plug wires off and checked the plugs. They look great, the gap is still right on. I ended up buying some Seafoam Tune Up, plan on running it Sunday to see if it's any better.

I think a repair manual is next on my list, I'm sure I'll need it at some point.
