Suzuki DT 3.5

I recently purchased through auction a Suzuki DT 3.5 serial number 0351 325971 and of course it did not come with an operating booklet. What I would like to know is what year my outboard is; what fuel mixture I should be using;should I be doing any servicing (apparently it was run last summer)or should I just try it to see what I've got?<br />Thanks!<br />Al

You have a 1983 3.5 suzuki. E-mail me at fridays@oonl.com for an owners manual. I am at home now but am fairly certain that I have a used manual at work.

Thanks for the info and I'll contact you for a manual. As an aside since the ice was of the river here I decided to give it it pull to see if it would actually start. To my suprise it started on the first pull but I was unsuccessfull in getting it to idle and it always required some choke to keep running. I guess a carburator cleanup is in order. Does anybody know if a carburator kit exists for a Susuki 3.5?
