Have suzuki dt55 93 model and just replaced cylinder head temp sensor.according to clymer manual should have resistence of 56-84ohms when tip submerged in 25c water. actual reading was 118k ohms at outside temp(10) and in water gradually dropped to 59kohms.Is there a fault on new sensor or is the book wrong?perhaps 56-84kohms? anyone out there have a genuine suzuki book to confirm or say otherwise? engine no is 05501 351077 dt55tclp

Engine wont rev and tried everything, found ignition timing resistor was broken and substituted resistor to value, still not right. checked diapragm perfect condition carbs all clear, comp good ,crank not moved tdc,s ok,adjusted throttle sensor slightly, sync carbs on gauge, replaced fuel filter, checked readings on coils, pulser coils, ign, charging coils, gear tooth counter,o/heat switch, allok. spark looks ok,will run tick over on individual cylinders. will try strobe tomorrow anyone know timing advance? rev counter has never worked. sore head job.
