Is it bad luck to change the name of a boat and where did this superstition come from?<br />

Great PIC...I don't have a tide here; that's noticeable. The picture was probably no more than a 'soft' grounding, till the tide went out. (Alaska?) I changed the name of my boat, so did the Exxon Valdez. I do not know where that 'bad luck' thing came from, but your in good company, changing it.
