Taking off tilt & trim motor

Hi,

I have a Johnson 40 hp 1995 motor that the power tilt & trim motor went out on. The problem is getting to the tilt & trim motor. There is a bolt that looks like it needs to come out of the back of the outboard but has seized up. Any suggestions on how to get to the tilt and trim motor?

take motor off boat, then, take dremel tool, cut head off, the vice grips on the remaining stud.
