Really turning into a disaster/doomsday show. I would prefer them exploring the Universe etc. Seems they have run out of new discoveries and resorted to horror movie tactic:

Black Holes are swallowing up everything!
If the Universe expands endlessly in hundreds of Trillions of years all the Stars will become Red Dwarfs! (Burn out) because not enough new stars are replacing them. They actually did an entire show on this subject.
Huge Asteroids, Comets, etc hitting the Earth
Solar Flares will soon wipe out World Satellites
The Moon is leaving the Earth soon(Of course in Millions of years), which will make the Earth not livable .
Stars going Super Nova will send radio activity our way and wipe out our Atmosphere. Of course they no of no Star close enough to us to do that.

What is their agenda here? Do they have one? Show God is not in control of our destiny?. Show there is no God? Do they think the Universe is boring without is being scary? Does doom and gloom sell better? Maybe they know nothing new and just make stuff up?
They have to know just 1 millions years is like eternity in the short Human lifespan. The scientist was grinning when describing the Universe demise in 100s of trillions of years. He seemed giddy with excitement over the event that probably no human will ever see. Kinda silly

The agenda of all fearmongers is to get you out of the now. Fear of the future and regret of the past is no place to live.
(What they want is for you to place your reliance on them.)
But it is better to trust in the lord than the confidence of man.

I get my science from physics books, not tv or magazines.
But you should know physics is empirical and math is only quazi empirical.
Math formalism died with David Hilbert.

A lot of the so called scientists can't see the difference between fact and truth, they think its the same thing.
Whilst science and math works very well in their own way, consider the computers we're using.
It only works computationally, not epistemologically.
It only answers the how, not the why.

The mistake is to assume with enough how answers we don't need the why answer.
I wonder why they think that?
Answer is above in brackets . :)
