Trouble / Error Codes

Hello<br />I want to have the computer hooked up to my engine and see what if any error codes show up.<br />The motor is 7 yrs old, runs like a clock and always has, I am just curious to see if anything is going on.<br />any input??<br /><br />thanx <br />Capt Crunch

hello<br /> no trouble codes are stored. if it has a problem it will have a code that will blink the diagnostic lamp. no computer read outs for that motor.<br /> good luck and keep posting

it's a special tool from Yamaha that plugs into the wiring harness and blinks in certain patterns to tell the problem code

Just a quick thought most employers don't approve of their wrenches doing home work for clients. <br /> sort of negative for the business. so keep the who private .
