AQ211A Volvo Penta, Rochester 2GE carb
I replaced my carb with a recon to find that the float was sticking and the idle was very uneven for example, setting the idle to 750 the revs would have a mind of there Owen creeping up and down, adjusting the fuel mixture seemed impossible. After you give the engine a rev it would rest at for example 1200.
by this time my friend had decided to remove the screws from the old carb and breach the gasket so he put it back together and now the old carb is all over the place as well, I cannot seem to achieve a good running engine
Please help what am I doing wrong; I?ve had a mechanic recently do some work to the stern drive but when I mention setting up a carb they all seem to run,
