I am upgrading my 1987 150 Carbed engine (Shift Rod is shot) to a 2003 HPDI that is new - They have told me that they may be able to use existing Binnacle, Shift cables, key set up, and Tach, Oil Tank, etc - Basically just swap out the engine - Does this make sense? It is all original equipment from 1987, and appears to be in great shape - I am not trying to cut corners - but will this work, and be a reliable solution - Please advise.<br /><br />Rob Allen
