Im swapping my old 4.3 lx with a 95 automotive vortec 350. Motor is in, stuck at the ignition system. It had a thunderbolt 4. Can i buy a complete Mallory or delco voyager est kit and everything will wire right up? Is there a better alternative?
Yes but you already own a way better one, use the TB IV with a V8 cap and V8 rotor. Use a Mercruiser cap & rotor, they are truly the best.
Any good marine wires will be OK. I bought some stainless core aftermarket wires about 6 years ago, they work great. Watch out that you put the correct ends in the distributor and the plugs, I've seen people put them in bassackwards and get misfires.
