I have a 71 evinrude 40hp 40153b motor ive rebuilt carb it runs good now.i want to take motor off and paint motor and paint lower seperate,but thinking about new rubber mounts.my pump impellar pumping good would like to leave whole bottom together.what all will i need far as gaskets and stuff.? Where can i find metal flake to mix in the paint ? How would i put new greasein everything? Should i take apart and clean and repack or just fill up?im just going to clean all the grease and oil off engine and scuff up prime and paint not a full restore,but need steps to do it.im going to take pictures as i go but is there anything i should mark or keep lined up or not move once apart?
