What creates water wear just behind where the water is drawn in. It actually removed the paint and looks like it was sandpapered with 40 grit

Re: Water burn Suzuki DT150S

hahahahah
you go JB
I dont have as much spare time as I wished. I usually post here while chatting with my Fiancee. she is in venezuela. we are translating some service manuals. anyway tell them to come on over. lots of knowledgable folks here. I sometimes get a little offensive but I try not to. but also there is some misinformation. most try to post correct. its the internet :) :)
I have done the wrenching, machinist thing and was an FC in the navy. been around mechanical and electrical things all my life. been doing the outboard thing this time since about 91 or 92. owned my own business since 94. most of what I do now is contract my services to marinas in the area.
good luck and keep posting

J.B
Do you think I haven't tried that ??? :( :(

I have successfully recommended this great site to many of them. I also tell them that most of the motors that they own are made in the USA, so I would hope that the knowledge base would be superior here.

C'mon JB ;) ;) The times are all backward here.. You could do !!! Let's see dayshift on iboats.. Nights on the OZ site..

hey merc805
I looked at that post. man what a can of worms. I would try not to get involved with a disscusion like that.
most of the statements can be true if the conditions are right. and it depends on who made it and where. to many variables.
good luck and keep posting
