Water comes out really hot while running on muffs. Is that normal?

Hi everyone, I just had a quick question on the water temperature coming out while running on muffs. I notice the water that comes out the "pee hole" is normal temperature, but water also comes out from the back side a little and comes out very hot. Not scorching to the touch but like taking a hot shower kind of hot. Is that normal? I'm planning on changing the impeller next week because I'm not sure when the last time it was changed (new to me old boat).

With regards to getting an impeller kit, is there a way to find the part number without having to take it apart first? I'd rather do that once I have the part if it's possible.
It's for an OMC Stern Drive model no. 982565 and Serial no. J277146 but I can't seem to find anything using these numbers.

What is your model number? Should look something like 302SPHRCTR

From your other post looks like its an 83.

You should create a signature and put all model info in it once you figure it out.
