The identification tag on my "new to me" engine is not readable. The fellow that I bought it from said that it was a 1989 but I am trying to get parts for it and nothing is matching up properly and the parts guy said he thinks the year is wrong.<br /><br />It is dark blue in color and has US Marine stickers on the head. The head has "heat fins" running the length of the head. The manual that I have has "A", "B" and "C" series engines. How do I tell what year and what series?<br /><br />Thank you in advance for any help....
