What's Your Alltime Favorite Movie

I'm a huge movie buff and have many favorites. I just read where the movie Patton, one of my alltime favs was added to the National Film Registry.<br /><br />

George C. Scott is seen portraying General George S. Patton in a scene from the 1970 film 'Patton.' The movie was one of 25 films added to the Library of Congress (news - web sites)' National Film Registry on December 16, 2003. This year's selections, bringing to 375 the number of movies added to the registry since it was established in 1989, span nearly 100 years of motion pictures dating back to an 1894 attempt by pioneering film engineer W.K.L. ****son of the Thomas Edison Company to combine film images with sound.<br /><br />This was an awesome choice. Wonderful movie about an incredible man! <br /><br />What are y'alls favorites.

Funny Nosleep, my hubby liked all the Alien movies too because of Segorney(sp) Weaver.<br /><br />Here are a few others I like Goodfellows, Godfather 1& 2, Stand by Me, Braveheart, The Patriot, Unforgiven, Full Metal Jacket, Apocolypse Now, Twelve Angry Men The original, Hamburger Hill, both versions and more recently We Were Soldiers.

Depends on what the criteria is. If it's based on what I've been watching over and over recently it's hands down "Finding Nemo" around here.

Yeah, thats a tough one to answer. I like all genres, from drama to sci-fi to comedy to horror, etc, so there isn't just one I could pick. I'll have to walk over to my obscene DVD collection, peruse the sellection, and get back with ya....<br /><br />My only criteria for a great movie is that I have to give a darn about the characters. If I am not liking/hating the characters, then the movie maker did not do his/her job. 'Course, I also just likes to see things get blowed up once in ahwile too....
