I have a 1999 OX66 150hp Yamaha Saltwater Series II. At the bottom of the PT&T assembly is a lower shock mount pin that runs from one side of the engine bracket to other. A retainer (E-clip) clip goes into a groove on each side to keep from sliding out. One of my clips came off and the pin about pushed itself out the other end during use one day. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I noticed starting on the 2000 model they now have a washer and bolt that screws into each end to secure it in place (obviously a defect was noted). I'm hoping I can upgrade to the 2000 pin setup on my unit, it looks like it will fit, I was able to get the bolts and washers but not the main part (the pin)Unfortunately, I can't find this part #64E-43818-01-00 with any local, state or internet site, and the damn thing is on back order from Japan. Any help?
