I know I'm not the first here and I wont be the last.....I was told today that tomorrow will be my last day of employment. Best of luck in your search. On the up side, IT is hot these days. We just searched for an employee and the market is a bit low on qualified people. It took us a while to find someone. Hope you find something you like ASAP.

My best wishes to you Ef. I was uttering the same words as you 7 long months ago, I finally found something and have been gainfully employed for 2 weeks now. It caused us to do some creative accounting and tightening up on the budget which we should have been doing anyway. We made it possible for me to take less money and stretched out the length of time to find a job and it all worked out fine. Better off financially than we were before even after taken a job that pays less.<br /><br />Try to take a little time to enjoy yourself, do something fun. You deserve it and need it in order to get your head on straight. Its a tough blow right now, but better times are ahead. Keep positive thoughts.<br /><br />Just remember, when one door closes, another one opens. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Every time I got laid off (or fired) I ended up with a better job than I had before, EF.<br /><br />I think that is what happened to LF, too.<br /><br />Keep that in mind while you find the job that is looking for you.
