I have a 1991 Yamaha 115 and I'm having a power loss as soon as the butterflys on the carbs open. Starts and idles normal. I've replaced the remote fuel/water filter, removed the carbs and cleaned them. Under a load the engine will not accelerate above idle. This all started a week ago when I was out in some chop and when it did happen the engine was perfoming well and then started to slowly lose power but I was able to throttle back and then increase throttle slowly and recover. Now, nothing over idle. The only thing different I have done was use some Ring Free just as an additive and not the shock treatment. I've never replaced the fuel pump but I don't know what the symptom of a failed pump would be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
