Yamaha 9.9 too lazy...

Hello everyone! I have -00 model 9.9 four stroke and i bought a new bigger boat so i want to know is it easy to modify my engine to 15hp? 9.9 is ok if you are alone but more load it can't stand. <br />So what kind of differences there are etc... Any links and tips are welcome!

The best and easiest modifcation is to take the engine down to the dealer and trade it in on a bigger one.

hello<br /> yes its the cheapest<br /> its against the law to modify your engine.<br /> or at least here in the US. if ya need a 15 then trade in and buy it and everthing works well.<br /> good luck and keep posting

yes but where i live it is not against the law to modify engines(I'm from finland)... If I'm right in USA it has something to do with taxes or is it?

NTV<br /> here it is the EPA(enviromental protection agency) in finland I have no idea. you will have to find a dealer in your area to assist or a yamaha regional tech as international motors are often very different from what we in the states see.<br /> good luck and keep posting
