Yamaha oil injection pumps too much oil

I have a new 2003, 130 hp, 3 times it over filled the oil tank on the motor, smokes very very bad, oil all over boat, checked float with ohm meter, checks ok. when it pumps oil to the motor the pump will not shut off until it is <br />out of oil.

Time to take back to the dealer. This is normally caused by a defective oil tank sensor.
