Re: Yamaha puddle fuel system- What is it???
hello
puddled fuel in the intake track is a problem with all two strokes at low speeds. to assist in this puddle problem most manufacturer's design a drain system to route the puddle fuel to the next cylinder.
some yamahas use pulses from the intake track and the piston and some use a check valve in the block. to tell you will have to look it up on the parts book. if it says check valve its a valve if it says nipple its a nipple. if its a valve you can test it by sucking and blowing through it with a syringe and tubing. air should flow only one way.
good luck and keep posting
