SeaDek Coaming Pads are designed for comfort, durability and ease of installation made from PE/EVA blended foam material specifically designed for the marine environment. Far superior to traditional coaming pads, SeaDek pads will not tear or absorb water. They also offer the same great nonskid traction as all SeaDek products. No more slipping and sliding on old style vinyl bolsters, now you can focus on pulling that big grouper off the bottom.? Application is a breeze with our simple and aggressive peel and stick backing.

Stock Coaming Pad kits consist of two (2) 4.5"x37" pads, each 20mm thick. Choose from numerous stock color combinations: White over Caribbean blue, White over Seafoam green, White over Beach sand, White over Storm gray, White over Cool gray, White over Mica, White over, Midnight black, White over Army Camo, Hatteras White, Caribbean blue, Seafoam green, Beach sand, Storm gray, Cool gray, Mica, Camo green.

Coaming Bolster Pad Installation Instructions

The only items you'll need for your installation should be a pencil, bottle of window cleaner and a clean cloth. Thoroughly clean the area where SeaDek will be applied. We recommend using a cleaner that will not leave any residue. A glass cleaner used with a clean cloth or scotch-bright pad works well. Make sure the area is completely dry before applying the pad.

If there is any glue, grease, adhesive or other substances on the area that the pads are to be applied, mineral spirits followed by acetone may be used to remove them. Be sure to use a glass cleaner afterwards as suggested above. Again the surface must be completely dry before applying the pad.

If pads are being applied to a new boat right from the factory it is very important that all mold release is thoroughly removed from the boat surface. Be sure to check with the boat manufacturer before applying pads.

Arrange the pad to the exact location to be covered and verify proper fit and placement. Use a pencil to make reference marks. Once you are sure the pad is the right size and are happy with the location turn the pad over so that the paper backing is facing up. Peel off the paper backing from one end of the pad carefully place that end into position and press firmly. Simultaneously pull off the paper backing and press the pad into place as you go. Once the entire pad is in place go back and apply pressure to all areas of the pad paying special attention to the edges.
