What's the difference between Solas Rubex Hub and the other hubs? All Solas Rubex propellers use a patented interchangeable rubber hub system so that you can use one Rubex hub for many differenent Rubex propellers. This will allow you to test and use different propellers for different purposes while only having one hub. Note, the other Solas propellers and hubs are pressed together with a specialty pin and are not interchangeable.
Each Rubex hub kit comes with the hardware needed to install the propeller on the propshaft. Unlike competitive hubs, the prop nut does not require periodic re-torquing on a Rubex propeller system.
