Trailering Checklist

All boats, at some point, require transportation through the means of trailering. Trailering is inevitably a requirement for boat owners, whether they are transporting the boat or they are simply storing the boat in front of their garages. When in possession of a boat trailer, there are certain guidelines that you should follow to make sure your trailer is secure, which will help to make it last a long time.

  • Inspection
  • Make sure the trailer is straight.
  • Check for rust on the seams.
  • Make sure all latches and hinges are secure.
