Designed for the most severe water offshore conditions. Exceeds USCG and International Maritime Specifications for hypothermia protection. Every suit has been inflated, seam tested, and fully inspected. USCG approved. Complies with SOLAS 83. Features: Retro reflective material front and back. Unrestricted vision in excess of 120 degrees. Storage minus 20 degrees (-4F) to 60 degrees celsius (140F). Impact tested. Lightweight. Five fingered glove for dexterity. Waterproof zipper. Face seal and flap. Tests by the USCG specify that a temperature drop of no more than 2 degrees celsius be experienced over a six hour period. The Stearns Cold Water Immersion Suit was tested using medical students at the University of Minnesota, Hypothermia-Water safety institute. Extrapolation beyond six hours in some instances could have provided survival toward infinite. Color: International Orange. Size: Universal adult - to fit persons ranging in weight from 110 lbs. to 330 lbs. and in height from 59 to 75.
