William Morse Sr. built his first aluminum boat in 1946. He would continue to build various aluminum boats before the Crestliner officially became a business. In 1964 the company built its first all-welded aluminum boat. This new design was revolutionary because it helped to increase performance while at the same time limiting the need for on water repairs. Over time the business continued to grow by excelling at its building process offering the latest design and technology. In 1985 it produced tongue and groove welded hulls to improve performance and add durability. The company prides itself on always adapting to the latest improvements so that your boat not only performs well but can retain a high resale value. In 1995 it began to offer its legendary Fish Hawk which is still in production today. Crestliner not only builds aluminum fishing boats, but hunting/utility vessels, bay boats, bass/crappie watercrafts, and multi-species crafts.
