15 h.p. SeaKing by Chrysler

I have a mid 80's Sea King by Chrysler outboard motor. Since the demise of Montgomery Wards I am at a loss for acquiring maintenence parts. Anyone out there know of available parts dealer and service for Northern California or mail order from anywhere?<br /> Thanks, Wagonmaster

Hi, well better late than never, didn't mean to be so long getting back on this. The tides of war have me distracted and I simply forgot the web page, I have saved it now, and will check my mail more frequently in the future. At any rate this motor is a 1984 I believe and has never been fired up as far as I can tell. It was stored outdoors and will not fire, I intend to clean points this week and try again. The 15 h.p. Seaking/Chrysler model # is VMB52119E and SErial # is 48x80886, other marking is 15 h.p. @ 5100rpm. <br /><br />1-800-463-9001

A good source for older Sea King/Chrysler parts is www.pugetmarina.com, they are located in Olympia, WA.<br />****

Hello Wagonmaster<br />You are correct, your motor is a 1984 model. I am sorry I don't have a parts manual for that one. I would think an after market manual for Chrysler, which would cover that year, might get you by.<br /><br />tonyf if you could post your model# I'll see what I an do.

Hey Wagonmaster & Tonyf; Get the Clymer manual # B750. It covers 3.5 to 140hp Chryslers from l966 to 1984. Sure hope this helps. Hal.
