What year is this chrysler?????

I have a 1974 Fisher Marine Dixie Boat with a 35HP Chrysler outboard I am restoring.<br />Could anyone tell me the year and model of the motor? The model number is 356HK. I would appreciate the help.

Thanks guys. I was not sure if it was original to the boat but I am thinking that it probably was even though the boat is only rated for a 25HP.<br />The serial # you provided alcan did not match the ones on the motor though.

I'm sorry ser#1001-1492=1976. 1493- up=1977.<br />This is for the 356HK model only.
