hi, I have a 15hp gamefisher motor that belonged to my father. the #s are <br />217586340<br />08-212446<br />I assume it is a chrysler/force. <br />I did a comp test on it and it read 100# and 95#. this was a cold engine that has not been run in a few years. I am not sure how accurate the comp readings are since I had to use a thread adapter and and the gauge has an 8" hose attatched to it. I sold my father a new '94 9.9 and out of curiosity, he checked both motors and said they read the same cyl pressures(using the same gauge on both).<br />do these readings indicate that the engine is worth fixing? I know the carb needs rebuilt. is there a source for the parts ?<br />thanks<br />bean
