motor won't start

I just bought a boat with a 85hp'89 force. I have never had trouble starting it, but today it won't turn over. The battery is fully charged. Any ideas?

r mcgrew,<br /><br />Give us some more to go on.<br /><br />1. Does the starter spin and not engage?<br /><br />2. Does the solonoid just click?<br /><br />???

The solonoid just clicks. That's all i can get out of it.

r mcgrew,<br /><br />Some things to check.<br /><br />1. Make sure the battery is fully charged.<br /><br />2. Make sure all of the connections are clean and tight. That includes the connections on the engine side of the battery cables.
