1990 Force 120 stator or power packs

I have a force 1990 120 HP this is the second time in 4 years that the powe packs have gone. Can't find any parts, does anyone know where to get them or does anyone know about the stator??<br />thanks

parts are available from any mercury outboard dealer.they may have to order them but they are still in production.

They should only run you about 60 dollars a peice when you get them make sure that you electical tape the wire real good for added life to the wire you they liek to break easy if you and are you sure they are going have you tested them on a meter or the easy way just like you would check car plugs but just a half a crank and were rubber glove if you do it that way. but doulble check you connections too they some times loosen up witch will case the lose if it's just the wire melted thou because of hitting the engine butt connect it ad tape it good
