I have replaced fuel tank, all line and primer bulb, fuel pump diaphram and torn the carbs apart to cleangood. Engine runs fine when in nuetral. When the gear is engaged I can open it up and it will take off until I begin to plane then the engine will bog down and go into a stall. If I go back to nuetral and reve the engine I can go for it again but with the same resulets. i can low power all over the lake all day without a problem. Where to I look now, I know this has go to be easy. This motor runs fine mechanically at times then goes to hell other times. tank is well vented.

Take the line apart between the pump and the
carb carefully check for good strong pulse from pump.Be sure tank is venting properely.Be sure all fittings and connectors are tight and functioning correctly.
How does it respond if you push the choke
when its doging out?

Do you get good rpm's when you first take off and then a bog or do the rpm's stay below 300o the whole time?

I have taken it all apart and craked to see fuel spitting out of the line at the carbs a pretty strong pulse, tank is vented and all fittings are tight. Have not tried to choke it while under power but in nuetral I tried it once at full throttle and it stalled.

I get good RPMs when i first take off then a bog.

My plugs have been looking wet and oily. Am mixing at 50:1 or slightly less. The plugs are only a couple of hours old and were champion L76V's, the book says to use UL18V's which I just put in. Maybe I'm fouling from wrong plug?? Looks identical to what was in there.
