Stock Force 50 Prop 1990 anyone Know?

struck a submerged mountain and lost my prop didnt even get to see the numbers on it<br />so i dont know what to replace it with<br />first time boat owner

Whelp!....its stamped on the hub between one of the blades or what was the blades try and see if you can read it again. Might need to wire brush to see it...Wadja do...Grind everything off smooth? <br /><br />There is no specific prop that came with that engine, it has to be matched from a prop chart to your specific boat size and weight and application..Michigan Wheel is one source...

Welcome to iboats. You lost the entire prop? Man, that was some mountain!!<br />Original part number is A293265.<br />It is a 12.5" pitch.

I can't remember, but I think it's 11" dia.<br />Unimportant tho, as they only made the one stock pitch/dia prop for the Force 50HP, which had not been changed since Chrysler had the line.<br />You can have one custom-hubbed at any pitch/dia, but unless you are using it as a trolling motor, or to push a pontoon boat, you'll want that original.<br />A good place to find some good deals is on ebay. I rencently picked one up for 15buks in new condition. But in general, you can find them going for 25-40 buks. You can pay 40buks at the prop shop, just to have a prop rehubbed. It's allmost cheaper just to get a new one at that rate.

for what its worth my old 50hp force had a 11 inch 13 pitch on it i still got it if you need it
