Hoping someone can help me...

Just bought a 92 Maxum with a 92 Force 70HP OB. Worked great for a little while, then completely cut out. Here's what I've done so far...

- Disconnected kill wire from switch box.
- Checked for spark on all 3 cylinders during crank, none.
- Checked voltage to switch box from stator, 8.5V (I assume it's the red and blue wires?)
- Checked trigger inputs to switchbox, voltage present, but small (I don't have a peak meter, just going by feel with a DVM on that one)
- Checked outputs from switchbox to coils, no voltage read at all (again, w/out a peak meter, just a DVM)

I've seen in the forum references to a systematic problem with this ignition system. Can't determine the right path to go down though.

Also, the manual says that maintenance-free bateries are not recommended. Boat came with one. Possibly related?

Any tips at all would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks,
Greg
