impeller 85 force

ok i replaced the impeller n housing put water muffs and it worked. 2 days later i started it for a brief min. without water. now it won,t pump i took the lower unit off and the impeller was spun off. any suggestions what to do.

Running the engine outside of the water is a NO NO.<br /><br />Replace the impeller and possibly the housing or the insert.<br /><br />TMD

housing is good what do mean by replasing insert what is that

Depending on the year..the newer ones had a SS insert. Your's may just be an aluminum housing.<br /><br />TMD
