I purchased the motor new in 1974. This is the first time any work has been done to it. I can't find a stator. I understand that the 60hp was only made for 2 years.

If you can find a Glenn's Chrysler Outboard repair manual, it has a detailed section on the 60. Good photos. 1/4 to 1/3 of the book is devoted to this engine.
