Ignition switch wiring

I have an 85hp Chrysler outboard that has no spark. Wires are corroded and the sticker on motor is illegible. Could someone please help with a wiring diagram? Model # 859HA.

Welcome to iboats.<br /><br />I can't help with the wiring colors. But there might be a terminal strip on the motor that says which wire is which by color and function. They changed colors a few times and it's even possible to have a motor with one scheme and a control with another. The sticker by the terminal strip may indicate both color options.

The way I read your post, you are looking for the wiring to the ignition switch?<br />Here tiz;<br />pin|wire color<br />I |red/blu<br />M |blu<br />M |White<br />S |yel<br />C |green<br />B |red<br />NOTE: there are two pins labled "M"., These two are interchangeable.

Yes,Scotiany, after reading your post, double checking,you're right! I have no clue where I got yellow off like that, or why I left the "B"post out of the post! <br />Thanks for the heads-up.
