force 1986 125 hp trim bleads down

I bought a 1986 bayliner and i did a compleat restoration all that is left is trim motor it goes up and down but when it is up it bleads down i cant find a blead valve on unit it has a quarter size circle with a snap ring twords the botom of unit what can i do to fix it need to compleat restoreation so i can start fishing some one please help thanks
