I usually change mine at the same point, I do the plugs, dist cap and rotor every 30K miles, and do the wires every 60K miles. You may have to clean out the throttle body, or you may have a sensor starting to not read correctly for it to not run well when it is cold. Usually ignition faults will be the same hot or cold, but the fuel enrichment system in the fuel injection may have more relevance to your problem. Mine only has 75K miles on it, runs good hot or cold.

Thanks Lou for the response, i think you are right bout it being fuel related. i guess it still was worth doing the cap and rotor being that many miles on it!

Try some seafoam additive or get a fuel injection servicing.I have a 95 with 156k on it and it runs just like my wifes 2004 jeep with 5k on it.Charlie

should be on the throttle plate assembly. it adjusts the amount of air the engine get at idle with throttle plate closed
