How do I put pictures in a post?

My pix are hosted on my own website but I couldn't find the answer to posting them in FAQ or my initial searches of this site. I had to go back over 2 years to find an answer at http://www.iboats.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=20;t=000498 <br /><br />For anyone who stumbles on this thread with the same question, here's how to post pix in your post, and it's so simple I'm embarrassed I had to ask about it. Forget HTML commands.<br /><br />1. Have your pic hosted on a site. See link above for more info if you don't know what that means.<br /><br />2. Copy site address for your pic from the address line in your browser.<br /><br />3. Put cursor where you want pic in your post.<br /><br />4. Click on IMAGE button under Instant UBB Code below the window you're typing your post in.<br /><br />5. Paste the site address in the window that comes up, click OK, and it's done.<br /><br />Unless I missed something FAQ tells people how to upload avatars but not pix. It might be worthwhile including the picture posting instructions in FAQ.

Something I learned...and this may be just me and the way my system copies and pastes...whenever I paste a link in the image field and it goes to the message box, I always have to delete a space thats put in by the first
