My #2 daughter just returned from 2 weeks in Honduras with her Navy Reserve Medical Unit.<br /><br />They dispensed every sort of state of the art health care short of major surgery. Even vaccinated livestock and pets!<br /><br />Dentistry, Eyeglasses (donated by Texans), Physical Therapy, vaccinations, treatment of chronic disorders, training of local MDs, nurses and practical nurses, etc, etc.<br /><br />The rest of the world may gripe about, even hate the USA, but rural Hondurans love us.
<br /><br />Last year they went to Nigeria and did the same sort of thing, including setting up 2 rural clinics with supplies and trained personnel.<br /><br />Let's see if the antis can find a way to criticize our President for that.
