who has the itch to go fishing when season opens and where do you plan to go. Im planning to go for Rainbow as soon as season opens the next day for some nice specs how bout you

You dont know the half of it.I cant wait till ice out and I can get out fishing. Bought another boat in december and only got out once in it.Got a new depth finder for christmas(bless the wifes heart)and have not even got it on the boat yet, too cold. Cant fit the boat in garage because to many toys in there.Of course this has to be the worse winter in a while around here. Yea you could say I got the itch!!!<br />------------<br />Flathead

The Wolf River in Winneconne Wisconsin for the walleye spawning run, Easter weekend. If they have gotten further up stream by then, I will be in Fremont WI.

r u kidding!! got it and got it bad. <br />gonna take a while 4 the ice to get off lake<br />erie this year, so gonna try some lakers in<br />lk. ontario as soon as it's warm enough to get<br />out there. gonna be in LA 1st week of June and<br />I'm dieing to get over to Catalina Island for<br />some yellow tail and Bass. will be in the 1,000<br />islands last week of June also looking for some<br />big gators and musky.<br />cabin fever doesn't help!<br />hook up!<br />M.Y.

hey flat head I know what you mean I got a new motro for Christmas and man I have only heard it run on the muffs been wanting to drop my boat in the miaara river and fish for some lake trout but toooooooooo cold for that

I have it so bad, that if it does not hurry up and get warm enough to go fishing, I won't be able to afford to go because of boat shows and buying "stuff" to go when it warms up.

Itch, ccccaabin ffeevvorr. yup way high over 1000. Got my first boat last year, broke my heart to take her out of the water. The first warm day we will Be on the Illionis. I Don't care if Mr. Catfish is awake or not. I will be on the river.....

i've got it pretty bad. not bad enough to hit the lake in temps in the 30's though. i'm going camping/trout fishing over by the GA/NC/SC borders in the middle of Feb... i hope we get a little warm spell or i'll be a frozen fish. i've gotta get the trebles off my lures and put on a single hook - for fishing the Delayed Harvest streams.<br /><br />i gotta beat my old record- 12.5in i hope i catch one so big it'll make trollhole jealous. <br />(even if it is a released brooder from the hatchery-LOL)

I got it so bad, I am working on the shower. I removed the shower a few years back. I will not say how many but it is well known around these parts. If I get the shower back in, then my wife will let me go with pleasure this spring. This way she does not have to sit in the bathtub any longer. My son is itching too. HE keeps reminding me of the biggest bass he caught in the lake behind the house. It was his "best day ever" as he recalls. I would have to say it was one of my best days ever too. It almost better to see you kids pull in a big fish, than to pull one in yourself. I try not think think that my son, my wife, and another guy I went fishing with all caught bigger bass than me this year.

White Bass run on the White River in March. Just got my motor fixed, boat painted, reels greased and lined, and just bought 10 of everything that Bass Pro Shops has to offer in the way of White Bass and Crappie. I stand in my garage and stare at it for atleast 1 hour every day.

Ice out? I seem to remember that term when I lived back in Massachusetts. But here in beautiful Palm Springs that memory is fading fast. I love year round fishing. OK I'll stop rubbing it in now.<br /><br />Fish on!!!!

yeah, but the only fish in Palm Springs are the<br />old ladies at the bar! LOL just kidding, really <br />nice there used to stay at the "Spa" years ago.<br />been so cold they've had to break the ice in Boston<br />Harbor daily... very unusual.

I have the itch really bad too. I'm tired of this cold weather in Eastern Ohio. I WANT SPRING TIME! I cleaned all of my reels and poles but I haven't put the line on yet.Replaced hooks on lures.Bought some new lures for Bass and Muskie fishing.IF the weather got real nice I still couldn't go to the lake I want to fish. They lowered it 6 feet and maybe more No way to get on it.Come on spring time.<br /><br />"I have a 7 year itch too but that's another story"

Our trout season starts here in Ireland in 15 days , i wont get out till march though my new boat aint ready yet , im actually thinkin of tryin for a few pike tomorrow out of boredom , i have a few lures that didnt get wet last year , a big copper spoon specially made for the pike on our lake , the water is a bit high still though<br /><br />ill be doing my first spot of fly fishing this year too i got a rod for xmas , was praticing in the yard yesterday lol

Dman, The whitebass start in Fremont around Mothers Day, thru the end of the month.<br />The old saying is, "when the lilacs are in bloom".<br /><br />Since I moved here from Milw area, friends have been going to Necedah, below the dam on the Wisconsin River for whitebass. But I haven't been there yet. I may try it this year. Its about an hour closer.

hey roscoe i was there sunday it was a zoo i saw plates from 3 states 4 including wi i didnt put in though had the flu really bad and was just to dang dizzy to go but i was a mad as can be at my wife for geting me sick i got a new boat in jan and am going nuts waiting to get it in i sit in it when i go to garage to smoke wife thinks somethings wrong with that

Ya I got it reeaaal bad.<br /><br />Muskeyone...Aint nothing wrong with that,got ours in Feb and me-n-the kids play in ours (Opps) I mean the kids, cant get the wife to though she just stands there all modest and such. when i read your post to to her she says "what you laufghing at."<br /><br />I tell everyone my son is more anxious than me but just aint so this fresh snow is killin me...when will the ice go. Ya I got it too<br /><br />Miloman... you ask where am i going, Gotta admit first lake that opens up is mine I dont care if its after bullheads
