I have a 77 sea searay 165 mercruiser...new to me, just replaced trim hoses as one had a hole in it...seems to work good after new oil and bleeding...but what the heck are all three buttons for on trim switch area...up down and out?.....two only switch's are working on mine..cylinders work fine...why three buttons...should all three do something?...as I said I am a car guy and am confused...lol....nothing in manual about this, that I can see.....

Typically, there is a trim down, trim up (but only part way so you dont over trim and cavetate/ventelate), and then one to allow it to go all the way up for trailering... sometimes you have to press and hold one in while the "up" butten is used.. its a safeyt thing...

Uh oh....that explains why I thought I had to reset limit switch to get outdrive up in trailering position...I better reset and try the holding of the up button then push out button...that makes perfect sense....now...lol
Thanks Paul!
