I have a Chrysler 12.9 hp Model 125HB. I was told it was a 1971.
I just change the impeller and water pump housing and it was a tight fit. It is so tight that the electric start can't turn the motor over now. The battery has a full charge, so that's not the issue. Also I can't manually start because of a problem with the rewind. I'm not sure that would make a difference anyway.
Should I have lubricated the impeller during the replacement? Any other ideas?
