I have a 1985 19.5' sportcraft bowrider with a 1995 newly rebuilt johnson 90hp j90tleor on the back. I have followed all the advice on here with regards to setup and raised my engine as high as possible without having to bore new holes. I am running a 13.75 x 15 omc alum prop....and can acheive a max of 5400 rpm with just me in the boat and under ideal conditions.....low wind, calm seas..slack tide.....I was wondering since this is quite a large boat is it possible that I may not be able to get in the 56-6000 rpm range because the boat is in all likelyhood underpowered, since it was originally equipped with an i/o configuration, of im sure more hp than 90....Also I could post pics of this setup if someone could tell me how....Thank You

Re: Wot Questions

For sure its underpowerd, what you need is a nice big 1982 Johnson 3.6 v8 300 hp outboard like whats in my picture that would move your boat along alot faster :p I had that motor on my Hydrosteam and it moved pretty good upping 100 mph
