Good Job! It seems based on the number of plots foiled recently that the terrorists are getting frustrated. I wonder why the news reports are not giving descriptions of the 21 people taken into custody, but has provided a nice little description of the explosives.

The one in London seems rather ambitious.

Yep, seems like the good guys may have won this time. In the UK it makes a pleasant change from recent screw-ups which the press have just lapped up and have used to undermine the determination of our security services in their efforts to protect us.

Interesting to note that the operation is still continuing as the intel suggests that Al Qaeda may have become wise to being busted and have a built-in "redundancy plan" in place. Hope they get the lot of them!

Don't know if it made the news in the US but we recently had an embarrassing incident where our police and intelligence agencies raided a house based upon "information received". One suspect was shot and wounded during the raid but it later turned out that the cop's weapon had gone off because his gloves were too big :'( The press had a field day with that one, especially when it became clear that the information was considerably flawed and the suspects were allegedly innocent of any involvement in terror plots. What didn't make the news in the same fashion at all was the fact that one of the suspects has been charged with distributing kiddy pictures from his computer; now I'm wishing the cop had shot him properly

Stan, I hate the %*&^* media. They would tell horrible stories about their grandmother just to get a headline. They are part of the problem.

Lets hope these terrorists spill the beans on the rest and we can lock up a few more crazies.

Can these idiots be locked up for life for the crimes they were about to commit, or is your court system as bad as ours?

The media are the biggest part of the problem, outside of the actual mutant terrorists themselves, Ken. There should be steadfast laws against sensationalising, propaganda, falsified reporting, doctored/staged photos.. And all carrying stiff reprisals for those who practice that type of misinformation. Because media kills.

Alrighty then... now get ready for the bombardment from the Anti-American Civil Liabilities Union over the new precautions at the airports. They're gonna turn this into a baby formula fiasco. Wait and see.

Ken our courts system is even worse, here's a classic example:

Couple of years ago a group of Afghani men hijacked a passenger jet and forced it to land at an airport near London. There was a tense stand-off and finally they negotiated an end to the hijack and they were all arrested and charged...........................then the bampot lawyers got involved and the human rights crowds :'(

The end result? They got off the charges and then a case was brought against our Home Secretary (Condi's equivalent in the UK) and they won that case with the result that we couldn't even deport the filthy gets back to Afghanistan as they were "in fear of their lives"..................hmm what about the passengers and crew of the airliner they hijacked?

Hang 'em high! In public! Broadcast worldwide with Arabic translations

We need to send a clear message to these people and we need to do it now.................

That`s the problem with people that say these things about Rush, they can`t follow up on the acusations. He makes every effort to be truthfull and back up what he says and when he has said a few wrong things he apoligises and gives a reprisal. I have heard him do it on several occations.

Good for the anti-terrorist forces. Some travelers will be inconvienced and the market isn't happy, but how many would have died if nothing was done to stop the killers?

Hmm. The the same news media is reporting on the latest terrorist thwarting. Wonder if it's sensationalized, propagandized, falsified, and doctored.

It certainly has been sensationalized.

I just drove by the airport and saw all the news trucks nearby. They are just waiting for a riot to happen and are sadly disappointed when it wont. The only thing they could possiblyt show is long lines. Please tell me how that makes the news.

I am quite sure a small part of them are disappointed the terrorists didnt succeed. They could have talked about this for years.

If there is anybody out there who wants to talk about loss of freedoms while we attempt to monitor phone calls, email, whatever to catch wind of any of this, anywhere, please explain your position.

My position is that I may just be on one of those planes, and I selfishly now only hope I can get home . . .

Rock on Spinner!!!!
