Hey Gang,........

Got home from the riverhouse this morning,... wandered over to the 'puter,+ was about to check in here at iboats when I just had this Feeling,....
Something Wasn't Quite Right.........................

When I looked around, on,+ in my desk,.......
My Money Stash,..... Ya know, the Cash that you manage to rathole for Special Toys,+ what not,......
GONE..............

I Know that nothing will ever come of it,.... But I called the County Sheriffs,.... They Just Left,.....
All leads,+ evidence points to my Love's EX,.......
I'll get over it,+ Recover,.... 'ell,... It's Only Money.....

But,..... This brings me to My Question,.............
I've come up with 2 different Security Strategies,......

The Only way into this house is thru 1 of the 2 Upstairs Windows which are over the lower Roof side of the house,.....
And, of course,.. That's how Allen got in This Time.........

My Thought is to equip the screened window(ayuh, that's THE 1) with an automotive Coil,.... Wired to a battery,+ grounded to the Steel Roof..........
'course,... The High Tension lead would be attached to the Screen,........

The Idea I like Better is to equip this same window with a pair of 12ga. Shotguns(#4 buckshot with an Open choke),......
Trip Wired to the window........

While I see nothing wrong with shocking or shooting an intruder, a set lethal trap will probably get you jail time. Get a gun safe, and keep your valuables in it. Is this felon way ex or just a separation ex? He sounds stupid enough to come back. Good luck.

Don't do it. This board will miss you when you go to prison. Just lock the windows and hide your stuff better. If you really want to set him up, put clear packing tape strips around the window edges. They produce great fingerprints. Then he can go to jail.

I would consider placing motion sesitive digital cameras about the house.

Next time he comes visitng just show the photos to the deputies and file a complaint. Lots of spy stores carry what you need.

Bobby traps will put you in prison even if all they nail is the intruder since they present a clear threat to emergency responders. Don't even go there.

Keep your cash in the bank, insurance on your stuff, your doors and windows locked, and don't stress about it. I would be pissed if I came home to find my stuff gone, but then the insurance would kick in. The shotgun next to my bed insures that anyone who breaks in while I am home gets to enjoy my company in a negative manner...

An electric fence charger would probably work better, and be less likely to kill someone and cause a lawsuit.

I find that a big mean dog and a .38 revolver makes a pretty good security system. d

They're probably too busy eating donuts and writing tickets to little old ladies who forgot their seatbelt. About a year ago someone tried to carjack me with a knife, all I got from the cops was a sigh and some paperwork to sign.

Bondo, I do like electrifying the screen; done with an electric fence charger, it would be good for a tumble and stained shorts.

I get so p!$$ed with thieves! Just a couple of months ago I went into a store to pay for gas, only away from my truck for less than 2 minutes, came back out and a 500.00 chop saw was gone! Broad daylight,12 other people pumping gas, and NO ONE says anything to a guy walking away from a pickup carrying a large heavy saw!!!

it just pisses me off!cops aint going to do nothing the laws are for the criminals and the home owner cant do nothing,i now everbodys right but when im in my own home i shouldnt have to change my habits,or worry about putting a couple of rounds of buckshot into a intruder,anyway or wiring up yuor desk to shock the sh#tout of him?sorry for the ramblings bad morning.
