I have a mercarb with 1 idle adjustment screw and I have adjusted it so that it runs decent at idle, but it shakes a bit and sometimes will die.

I have the seloc manual but can't find out how to get the rpm's up to around 600.

Any help would be appreciated.

Dont know which year you have BUT if you follow the cable going to the carb there is a different screw that adjusts the idle speed very close to were the cable hooks up to the carb

I would also be wondering WHY your rpm is that low to begin with? ? ? ? ? Have you done a tuneup lately? Did you set the dwell/gap on the points? If so did you reset the timing? What year is your engine? 600 rpm idle is still low.
