Now if they can get rid of the 500 other taxes on my phone bill.

I swear they are making some of them up.

I was especially suspicious of the "cause mama needs a new pair of shoes" tax.

The tax dates back to the late 19th century and the Spanish-American War, when telephones were a luxury and the government needed revenue.

This just proves, there is nothing more permanant than a temperary tax.
