No plans... Low key, and playing it by ear...
Definately NOT going anywhere near the water, and definately NOT going in to work..
Might have a date lined up for lunch, or dinner, or?.. dunno yet..

Don't tell Kagee, but it is supposed to be in the 80's here and a 40% chance of rain Saturday morning. I already have the camper out there and the family and I will be heading out in a couples hours with the boat! Put my smart tabs on last night and I am anxious to see how they do! It is going to feel cold compared to the 107 degree temps we have been having!!

Everybody be safe and watch out for the drunk and idiotic!!!

Small Craft Advisory now in effect through Sunday morning
Today

Man away JB. Missed Kagee's thread, sorry for the duplicate, but this one came from more of a positive perspective . . . :D

If your boating season was only 4 months you'd have a difficult time maintaining a positiive attitude too :|

Re: Labor Day Weekend plans?

UPDATE..
saturday.. slept late.. rained off and on most of the day... cleaned out one closet and did two loads of laundry...

sunday.. slept late.. Flew down the turnpike and ended up at bass pro shops.. Blew some coin on a few new shirts and hats, and had a few good laughs at the pi$$-poor quality in the new boats for sale there.. PM bike ride got cut short cause a thunderstorm snuck up on me... Conflicting schedules made the dinner date a no-go, so dinner was a solo mission..

today.. slept late again (this could get to be a habbit) 8) .. Was gonna mow the grass, but the rain got here before i could drag my sorry butt out to the shed.. Had lunch, and here I sit..

Re: Labor Day Weekend plans?

We usually do the camping/fishing thing at the lake with all the other yahoo's, but htis year, it was an actual LABOR day weekend. I took Friday off as a vacation day months ago anticipating getting a good spot on the lake, however plans really changed this year. I convinced my wife that buying a $100 project boat was a good idea as we usually und up spending at least that much if we go camping. So, Friday was spent cleaning out my little shed. Found out the 1/2 of the floor was rotten, so I removed the rot and patched in what I could with the materials on hand. Saturday was devoted to the yard as both me and my wife worked our arses off! Got the garden tilled and my nephew-in-law had dinner with us. The girls, Buster and I slept out in the tent set up in our back yard Saturday & Sunday. Monday, I took a buddy fishin from dawn 'till noon and napped the afternoon away. Got pizza for the family Monday night, and secured (finally) my first project boat! I will pick it up in 2 weeks as the seller said he'd take 50 now and 50 later. All in all, a great weekend, but I sure found more than a few muscles that must have been M.I.A. for a while!
